It looks like I really will fulfill my promise of making 10 smock dresses. It’s not a very interesting pattern for you guys, but I have to deal with my obsessively compulsively urge to capture ALL my sewed clothes. Also the boring ones.
This little dress is rebuilt from a long skirt I never wore, because we’ve never really loved each other. On the first picture (2012) you can see the skirt and me in our honeymoon days on the beach. The sky was gloomy. A bad omen for our future.
I think -by the way- in his new appearance, I still only dare to wear it on the beach. It’s a bit short, so only for hot days.
Je straalt er wel bij dus ik denk dat de liefde nu wel van 2 kanten komt haha! Hij is prachtig geworden! Een hele transformatie zeg!
Hij leeft nu in ‘extra tijd’ en is al blij met de kleinste dingen 🙂
